Naxos Trekking has designed some new walking tours and has enriched the older hikes. All our tours are gear towards curious minds or simpler lovers of nature, history and Greek culture.
Naxos trekking enriches all the walking tours with interpretation guiding in order to create a complete and essential experience to the visitors.
Interpretation guided tours turn factual information into deeper meaningful messages by revealing emotions and gaining insights. This way the significance of each site is enhanced into a complete experience.
All tours are conducted in private basis, upon request.
The tours include a quality sightseeing guided tour with a certified interpretation guide (from Interpret Europe-European Association for Heritage Interpretation)
The tours are conducted in English or in Greek.
Tour duration is the walking time plus the time spent in the sights and the driving time from the clients' accommodation.
Due to Covid -19 situation we have adjusted our services to the current needs and we remain flexible to new ones if needed.
We have removed transfer from our services and we encourage our clients to have their own vehicle or if it is needed we can arrange transfer from a trusted transfer agency that follows all the safety protocols.
Most of the tours include a meal with local meze dishes and drinks and we offer an option of a larger lunch menu at an extra cost.
Larger groups can be arranged if requested.
We strongly recommend that hiking shoes or training shoes (e.g. running shoes) are required in the hikes. During summer hats and sun-protection lotion are always necessary and long sleeve t-shirts are preferred. Additionally we recommend long pants or socks.
Note: all the hiking tours are conducted in a natural landscape.
Travellers of all ages can participate in our private tours. (Children should be under parental supervision).
